NAID Leadership Committee Holds Inaugural Meeting
April 8, 2019
Under the i-SIGMA bylaws, the NAID Division Leadership Committee (DLC) is responsible to ensure the Board of Directors maintains a focus on issues relevant to secure destruction service providers.
Having only been recently appointed and approved, the NAID DLC met for the first time last week.
“The i-SIGMA Board wanted to put together a team of professionals that know the industry and NAID history and who would not be afraid to call us out if we were taking our eye off the ball,” said Board Co-President Angie Singer Keating. “I’m in the data destruction industry too, and I want NAID to continue doing what NAID has always done with excellence.”
Though the first meeting of the NAID DLC was largely foundational, it is clear they mean business.
“The board has picked a dream-team, as far as I am concerned,” said i-SIGMA CEO Bob Johnson. “Every one of them is a force in the secure data destruction industry and their leadership ability was proven long ago.”
The NAID DLC members are:
- John M. Anderson, CSDS (Shred 360)
- Russ Bryden (Shred-it)
- Pat Connor (Jake, Connor & Crew)
- Paul Hurst (SafeShred)
- Joe Roberto, CSDS (Shred-Tech)
- Nate Segall (Accushred)
- Tom Simpson (AAA Certified Confidential Security Corp.)
- Cory Tomczyk (IROW)
- Lloyd Williams (Shredall, Ltd.)
Later this month, the i-SIGMA Board of Directors will select a NAID DLC Chair. Whoever it is, NAID members can be assured that they have a strong and knowledgeable group looking out for their interests.
