Member News: Infoshred Acquires Secure Eco Shred

East Windsor, CT, Aug 12, 2025 – Infoshred, an i-SIGMA Service Provider Member Company, has acquired Secure Eco Shred, a document shredding and hard drive destruction service formerly based in Brookfield, CT. The acquisition will increase Infoshred’s existing footprint in Connecticut and New York. The combined company will be headquartered at the Infoshred facility in East Windsor, CT.
Mike Smith founded Secure Eco Shred along with his wife, Elaine, in 2004. He will aid in the transition, introducing Eco Shred’s current customers to the expanded services Infoshred offers.
