i-SIGMA Approves Richard Steed to Fill Vacancy

The i-SIGMA Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Richard Steed of Pacific Records Management and Pacific Shredding to the Board as a Director. With a half dozen records management and secure shredding locations throughout central California, the companies have been long-standing members of PRISM International and NAID, respectively. Steed also having served in many board positions in PRISM International, including a term as Past President.

Steed’s appointment fills a vacancy created by the recent acquisition of Business Records Management in Tampa by Vital Records Control (VRC). This resulted in two VRC representatives on the Board of Directors and one thereby needing to withdraw.

“While we are delighted Tom Seibert will continue on the board, we are equally saddened to see Andrew Ysasi step down,” said i-SIGMA Co-President Christopher Jones. “The only saving grace is that we can now utilize Andrew’s amazing grasp of compliance issues to work for i-SIGMA in other areas. He may or may not know it, but we’re not about to let his talent go to waste!”

On the appointment of Steed to replace Ysasi, Jones commented, “We were incredibly fortunate to find Richard ready to step up. The depth of his industry and association knowledge is unmatched.”
