i-SIGMA Board Approves 2020 Elections Campaign Guidelines
December 18, 2019
As i-SIGMA prepares for its first formal election of the Board of Directors, the acting Interim Board has approved the 2020 Campaign Guidelines which describe the various ways the association will help candidates promote themselves and their message, as well as defines appropriate steps the candidates may take themselves to do the same.
“We felt it was important to provide guidance on what qualifies as appropriate campaigning,” said Nominating Committee Chair Tom Fetters of Iron Mountain, “not only to clarify what is considered acceptable but also to help create a level playing field for all candidates.”
As previously announced, 2020 Nominating Forms will be distributed in January along with the 2020 Nominating Guidelines and the Candidate Information Form.
Elections for the 2020-2021 i-SIGMA Board of Directors are planned to be held by electronic ballot in March.
