i-SIGMA Committees

Among the many things accomplished at the first meeting of the combined NAID/PRISM International Board, was the re-installation of the many of sub-boards and committees responsible for the organization’s success.

While most of those committees will retain their current chairperson, the mission of some has been modified to embrace or represent the entire i-SIGMA membership.

Included in the committees that will expand their mission to represent the PRISM International are the:

i-SIGMA Complaint Resolution Council (CRC)
Cory Tomczyk, Chair
This council deliberates violations of i-SIGMA’s Code of Ethics and affords due process to those deliberations. Recommendations from the CRC are advanced to the i-SIGMA Board of Directors for a final ruling. (i-SIGMA contact Sara Berntgen)

i-SIGMA Government Relations Committee
Michael Massaro, Chair
This committee monitors and advises the i-SIGMA board of directors on regulatory issues in the U.S. Government relations outside the U.S. are monitored by regional chapters in Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and Canada. (i-SIGMA contact Bob Johnson)

2019 i-SIGMA Conference Committee
Cindi Schoenfuss, CSDS, and Jeff Cohn, co-Chairs
This committee is responsible for planning related to the annual i-SIGMA conference and exposition. (i-SIGMA contact Jamie Hughes)

i-SIGMA Communications and Marketing Committee
Gina Lentine, CSDS, Chair
This committee provided oversight for i-SIGMA publications, websites, communications and marketing. (i-SIGMA contact Kelly Martinez)

i-SIGMA-ANZ
Renee Pryor, Chair
This committee is responsible for member affairs and benefits in Australia and New Zealand, and monitors and advises the i-SIGMA board of directors on regulatory issues there. (i-SIGMA contact Bob Johnson)

i-SIGMA Europe
Stefan Chorus, Chair
This committee is responsible for member affairs and benefits in Europe, and monitors and advises the i-SIGMA board of directors on regulatory issues there. (i-SIGMA contact Bob Johnson)

i-SIGMA Canada
Tino Fluckiger, Chair
This committee is responsible for member affairs and benefits in Canada, and monitors and advises the i-SIGMA board of directors on regulatory issues there. (i-SIGMA contact Bob Johnson)

PRISM PRIVACY+ Certification Committee

This committee is new and will be responsible to review and make recommendations for improvement and promotion of PRISM International’s flagship operational certification program.

The listed committees, boards, and councils are currently looking for volunteers. PRISM International member representatives are encouraged to participate. To do so, please contact the chair of the group you are interested in joining or the i-SIGMA Committee Coordinator Sara Berntgen.
