Company Member-representatives who are passionate about their business and the industry can actively make an impact by getting involved with the association.

i-SIGMA offers a variety of Committees to serve on.

i-SIGMA Committees

Events Committee

The Committee responsible for development of the educational programs and events for the Annual i-SIGMA® Conference and Expo, Shred School and other events including virtual roundtables and webinars.

Americas Advocacy Committee

This committee’s mission is to guide the development of membership, educational programs, and networking opportunities for information governance service providers within the region, as well as promoting i-SIGMA and the use of contract industry services to businesses.

Certification Committee

This committee mission is to be accountable for the integrity and guide the structure of i-SIGMA Certification programs, including NAID AAA and PRISM Privacy + Certification for all member locations.

Corporate Partner Engagement Committee (CPE)

This committee mission is to recommend ideas, actions, and strategy as well as supply feedback to the Board of Directors and i-SIGMA Staff that support and promote i-SIGMA Corporate Partners members as they would in turn support i-SIGMA Service Provider members and the information governance and management industry.

Membership Committee

The mission of the committee is focused on supporting the membership of the association, both new and existing, through promoting awareness of resources, services, and membership benefits. This committee is also tasked with reviewing member applicants for admittance to the association, per the bylaws.

Member Resolution Council (MRC)

The mission of the committee is to help uphold the integrity of the association in reviewing complaints regarding ethical and certification program specification violations. The MRC is responsible for reviewing ethical complaints and recommending appropriate action(s) to the i-SIGMA Board of Directors.

CSDS Council

The Certified Secure Destruction Specialist® (CSDS)® Council is to be accountable for the integrity of the Certified Secure Destruction Specialist® (CSDS)® Accreditation Program.

Nominating Committee

Committee responsible for soliciting and qualifying candidates for i-SIGMA Board of Directors.

International Advocacy Committee

This committee mission is to guide development of membership, educational programs, and networking opportunities for information governance service providers within the region, as well as promoting i-SIGMA and the use of contract industry services to businesses.
