2026 i-SIGMA Member Awards Announced

i-SIGMA announced the recipients of multiple awards, including the Service Provider Member Representative and Corporate Partner Member Representative of the Year Awards, the i-SIGMA Vanguard Leadership Award, and the Robert Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award earlier this month at the i-SIGMA 2026 Conference in San Diego, CA during the Membership Luncheon. These recipients are selected by the association’s President to single out individuals who have truly made an impact on the association and the industry.

In the tradition of i-SIGMA, these awards are acknowledged as Service Provider Member Representative and Corporate Member Representative of the Year Awards to those selected has played a valuable role in helping to shape the association and advocate on behalf of members. Whether it is serving on committees, sharing critical ideas, or engaging members through new channels, these members truly shine on behalf of the organization.

Bradley Gibbens of Ranger Shredding (TX, USA) and Paul Prokic of G1 Asset Management Pty Ltd. (Queensland, AU) , were awarded with the Service Provider Member Representative of the Year Awards. Michael Campbell of Vecoplan (NC, USA) and Renee Schafer, CSDS of Data Security, Inc. (Nebraska, USA) were awarded with the Corporate Partner Member Representative of the Year Awards.

The i-SIGMA Vanguard Leadership Award is a new addition to the awards lineup this year.

We are proud to introduce the i-SIGMA Vanguard Award, honoring those who are leading our industry forward. These are the innovators, the thinkers, and the doers who are challenging convention and setting new direction in secure information management. They don’t follow the path—they create it. This award recognizes the vision, leadership, and impact shaping what comes next for our industry.

The i-SIGMA Vanguard Leadership Award is presented to Tom Adams of Flourish Press (NY, USA) for his outstanding contributions and legacy to the industry.

The “Robert Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award” is a representation for all the hardworking professionals in the information destruction industry who have a critical role in adhering to the standards governed by i-SIGMA to protect the confidentiality and privacy of our members’ clients.

The fourth recipient of the Robert Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Richard Steed of Pacific Records Management (California, USA) for his remarkable leadership and continual contributions to i-SIGMA and the industry.

We honor the recipient of the Robert Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award for a career defined by unwavering dedication to the advancement of secure information management. Through decades of leadership, service, and integrity, they have helped shape the standards, strengthen the community, and elevate the entire industry. Their legacy is reflected not only in their accomplishments, but in the lasting impact they have made on i-SIGMA and the professionals who follow in their path.
