Using Bar Coding for 100% Inventory Control

It’s an open secret that no shredder knows where all of their bins are, right?  Wrong.  Join us for a real Case Study of how one Shredder converted to using tight bin validation controls to know where 100% of his bins are; eliminating missed bins, duplicate bins, lost bins, and mistakenly serviced bins.  Having 100% validation at the point of service then opened the door to automatic release of Certificates of Destruction and Invoices, with only Service Exceptions requiring user intervention.  Given the price of bins… shouldn’t you know where every one of them is installed and if they are collecting paper?
