Records Management is undergoing a fundamental shift. Long-standing, storage-centric models are being reshaped by digital transformation, large-scale automation, and the rapid adoption of AI-enabled RIM technologies. This session examines what has changed, and what those changes mean for offsite records storage vendors operating in an increasingly intelligent information ecosystem.

The session explores how AI is transforming classification, metadata enrichment, and large-volume document and email review; how automation is evolving beyond traditional box- and barcode-based workflows; and how emerging agentic AI capabilities may alter how records are managed, accessed, and governed across hybrid environments. Attendees will gain insight into how these shifts impact service offerings, risk profiles, and client expectations, and how offsite storage providers can adapt to remain trusted, relevant partners in modern Information Governance programs.
