Nickson Lim
Biodata
Nickson Lim brings over 13 years of specialized data erasure experience across Asia-Pacific. As the Regional Head of Ziperase APAC, he spearheads regional expansion across the ITAD, Enterprise, and Government sectors while scaling the regional partner ecosystem.
Throughout his career, Nickson has been instrumental in shaping the APAC data lifecycle landscape. He has collaborated closely with enterprise leaders and government bodies across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and other APAC regions to design and implement secure end-of-life data destruction frameworks—laying standards that remain vital to modern cybersecurity, compliance, and circular economy strategies today.
Dr. Thanasarn Hongpaisanvivat, PMP®, CDMP®

Dr. Thanasarn Hongpaisanvivat, PMP®, CDMP® is Managing Director of Digital Revolution T & T Co., Ltd. and P
resident of DAMA Thailand-Bangkok. He brings more than 36 years of IT industry experience, including 25 years with IBM.
His expertise spans Data Strategy, Data Governance and Management, Business and Data Analytics, Master Planning, Organizational Change Management, and IT Adoption Management. He has led large-scale IT implementation projects for major organizations and government agencies, with extensive experience in CRM, Data Warehousing, application development, vendor management, and IT professional development.
Dr. Hongpaisanvivat also serves on the Committee for Project Management Standards Development under the Engineering Institute of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. His extensive experience in data, technology, consulting, and organizational transformation provides a valuable perspective on today’s evolving information management landscape.
Renee Schafer, CSDS
Director of Operations, Data Security Inc.
Renee Schafer, CSDS has been with Data Security Inc. since 1999. As the Director of Operations, she leads the company through strategic decisions and effective management of all departments, especially sales, marketing, and product development, while also working directly with the National Security Agency (NSA), data destruction scientists, and electronic media storage experts. She is a member of the Forbes Business Council, the FBI’s InfraGard and FBI Citizen’s Academy, was the first CSDS in the state of Nebraska, and speaks around the world to educate people on information protection. Schafer leads an active family-life as well as participates in various community fundraising efforts and volunteers regularly at local outreach centers and her church.
Gaines Garrett, CSDS
Secure Shredding and Recycling
Gaines Garrett is the Chief Executive Officer of Secure Shredding and Recycling (SSR) and Dunlap Government Solutions (DGS). Since joining the family business in early 2017, Gaines has helped grow revenues more than 1000% and established SSR as one of the Southeast United States’ largest independently owned shredding companies.
In 2021, Gaines led the acquisition of Landshark Shredding via the formation of a joint venture between SSR and DGS. DGS now holds more than 50 federal government contracts and works with more than 20 i-Sigma certified teaming partners throughout the country to service our VA Hospitals. Gaines also holds the designation of Certified Secure Destruction Specialist.
In addition to his work in the secure destruction industry, Gaines has been an entrepreneur since his time in graduate school at Louisiana State University. He is a partner in several companies developing products and services across multiple industries. Gaines graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2008 then went on to complete his MBA with a focus in Finance and Entrepreneurship in 2010. He and his wife Lauren have two children, Mai Frances (5) and Park (2).
Karen Truebody
AGS Records Management South Africa
Karen has over 18 years’ experience in records management, having worked as the General Manager, Operations Director, Sales and Marketing Director as well as the Director responsible for Human Resources for a large Records Management Company in South Africa. Due to her expertise in these multiple positions, Karen has a complete understanding of the records management process in Sub Saharan Africa. She was previously in charge of 250 staff and had the responsibility of developing and overseeing numerous branches.
Karen started with PRO Archives Systemes as the Divisional Manager in 2011, and she now utilizes her vast experience in records management as their International Director responsible for the development and management of branches in Africa, Asia and Europe. She has successfully secured many international contracts with large companies in the world. These projects are for the implementation of their on-site and off-site records in all 54 African Countries.
In addition, Karen also manages a very large scanning project for a division of the United Nations whereby the scanning and indexing of 2 000 000 pages is concluded monthly. Karen is a married mother with two gorgeous children and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Paul Prokic
G1 Asset Management Pty Ltd
Paul Prokic is the Director of Strategy and Growth at G1 Asset Management Pty Ltd, an ITAD based in Australia at Yatala in Queensland. Paul has played a significant part in growing the organisation with customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia and now in North America over the past 6 years and has a passion to see the ITAD side of i-SIGMA develop in the coming years.
Paul has been Vice Chair on the Australian New Zealand Committee of i-SIGMA for around three years now and is currently Chair of the newly formed Asia Pacific Committee and will utilise his skills in growing the business internationally with i-SIGMA in attracting more business to be NAID AAA Certified and understanding the importance of having that significant accreditation which G1 has achieved.
Paul and his wife Michelle have been married for 39 years and have four children and three grandchildren he takes an active interest in many sports and has coached junior teams for many years and understands the value of teamwork and looks forward to making a strong contribution to the i-SIGMA Board.
