Jade Lee is the President & CEO of Supply-Chain Services, Inc. (SSI), a well-respected service provider in the arena of IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), Secure Data Destruction, Responsible Electronics Recycling, and Reverse Logistics Management Services.

Jade received her MBA degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Prior to founding SSI in 1997, Jade worked over 10 years at the Baxter Healthcare International in sales and marketing management position whereby she dealt with multi-billion OEM suppliers. This experience was valuable to SSI’s OEM and enterprise customers as SSI possesses high capability in comprehending their unique needs in light of the ever changing and demanding business challenges. Jade is frequently invited by SSI’s corporate customers to discuss approaches to help reposition and reshape their sustainability and environmental stewardship strategies.

From 2006-2010, Jade was invited by the U.S. EPA to be a member of a small stake holders group comprised of large manufacturers such as Dell & HP, Federal/State EPA’s, leading recyclers and environmental groups to develop the Responsible Recycling (R2) Standards for the Electronics Recycling industry. SSI was among the first few recyclers certified to the R2 standards when the certification program was launched in 2010.

Under Jade’s leadership, SSI holds a total of 10 industry certifications. It was also among the first four electronics recyclers that received NAID’s Hard Drive Data Sanitization and Physical Destruction certificates when NAID initiated the hard drive certification program in 2009. Since then, Jade has been active in collaborating with NAID’s management and peer members in advancing NAID’s strategic vision and growth.

Jade plays an active leadership role in the IT Asset Disposal (ITAD), Data Destruction, Electronics Recycling and Reverse Logistics industries. In 2008, she formed Reverse Logistics Association (RLA’s) “Sustainability and Environmental Management Committee. She served as the Secretary of the Electronics Recycling Division of the Institute of Scrap Recycling industry (ISRI) for 2 years. She was a founding member and board director of the International Association of Electronics Recyclers (IAER) which she helped facilitate the merger with ISRI in 2008.

Jade is also an accomplished author. Her white papers “Critical Issues in Establishing a Viable Reverse Supply Chain Management Program” and “Strategies to Optimize Return on Investment (ROI) Through Effective Reverse Supply Chain Programs“ were presented at the IEEE conferences and published by the Reverse Logistics Association’s magazine. Jade is a frequent speaker/panelist at the IAITAM, NAID, ISRI, e-Scrap, and Reverse Logistics Association conferences and meetings. Her presentations deliver key perspectives on critical sustainability, electronics recycling, data security, technology asset management and reverse logistics issues.

Jade is also an accomplished author. Jade is also a highly sought after speaker delivering key perspectives on critical sustainability, ITAD, electronics recycling, data security and reverse logistics issues at the IAITAM, IEEE, NAID, ISRI, Reverse Logistics Association and CSCMP conferences and meetings. Her presentations at IAITAM conferences on “Successful Data Center Decommissioning Management” in 2018 and “How NOT to Lose $$$ in IT Asset Recovery Value” in 2019 all received high speaker rating.
