Please note: Summit registration does not include lodging. i-SIGMA does not offer one-day, exhibit-only, or trade show-only registrations for this event.

International Attendees and Visa Obtainment

If you are traveling internationally to attend the i-SIGMA International Summit, you may request a Letter of Invitation to support your visa application by contacting the Events Department at [email protected].

Please note:

  • i-SIGMA can issue official Letters of Invitation only to registrants who have completed registration and paid in full
  • Once full payment is received, attendees may request a formal Letter of Invitation
  • If your visa application is denied, i-SIGMA will provide a full refund upon receipt of your official letter of denial

Please include the following information with your request:

  1. Full name as shown on passport
  2. Passport number
  3. Full mailing address, including country
  4. Name of the event and purpose of travel

i-SIGMA will notify you once the letter has been sent.

i-SIGMA Events Code of Conduct

i-SIGMA is committed to providing safe, inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free events. All attendees, speakers, trainers, sponsors, volunteers, and other participants must follow the i-SIGMA Events Code of Conduct at all in-person and digital event spaces, official social functions hosted or sponsored by i-SIGMA or its sponsors, meetings and communications, session proposal processes, and post-event surveys.

i-SIGMA events bring together people from many backgrounds, industries, and experiences. Everyone is expected to consider the impact of their words and actions on others.

Code of Conduct Behaviors

All event participants are expected to behave in accordance with professional standards, this Code of Conduct, applicable laws, and, where not inconsistent with the above, their employer’s workplace policies.

Participants must treat one another with dignity and respect at all times. Sexual harassment, misconduct, unwanted sexual advances, aggressive or threatening communication, disruptive intoxication, discrimination, and similar behavior will not be tolerated.

Consequences of Violation of the Code of Conduct

Participation in i-SIGMA events is voluntary and subject to association policies, procedures, and determinations. i-SIGMA and its designated representatives will review alleged violations of the Code of Conduct and may take appropriate action, including:

  • Immediate removal from the event without refund
  • Temporary or permanent exclusion from future events
  • A warning to stop the behavior immediately
  • Revocation of leadership roles related to i-SIGMA events for a defined period or indefinitely
  • Reporting illegal conduct to the proper authorities

What to Do When Subject to Violations

Anyone who experiences or witnesses a violation of the i-SIGMA Events Code of Conduct is encouraged to report it to the Complaint Resolution Committee, the elected Board of Directors, any member of the i-SIGMA staff, and/or the CEO of the association.

Conditions

Event Cancellation or Postponement

i-SIGMA reserves the exclusive right to modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel programs for any reason. If i-SIGMA is prevented from holding the International Summit due to causes beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, government action, war, travel restrictions, or circumstances that make it illegal or impossible for the venue to host the event, i-SIGMA may cancel the event with no further liability to attendees beyond a full refund of registration fees paid.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Substitutions

Substitutions and refunds are available for International Summit registration and any official pre-event networking registration, where applicable. To request a refund, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] or mailed to:

Refund deadlines for the i-SIGMA International Summit, November 4–6, 2026, are as follows:

  • On or before July 31, 2026: Refunds will be issued less a 20% cancellation fee
  • August 1, 2026 through September 4, 2026: Refunds will be issued less a 50% cancellation fee
  • After September 18, 2026: No refunds will be issued and registrations are not transferable to future events, except in cases that meet the travel restriction, visa denial, or medical emergency terms outlined below

All cancellation requests must:

  • Be submitted in writing
  • Be made by the registered attendee and/or credit card holder
  • Include the attendee’s name and/or transaction number

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method no later than 30 days after cancellation approval.

Substitutions are encouraged. i-SIGMA is not responsible for any outside fees related to substitutions or cancellations.

Pre-Event Networking Registration Cancellations

If a separate pre-event networking registration applies, cancellation requests must be received by September 18, 2026. No refunds will be issued after this date. Approved cancellations are subject to the same 20% administrative fee. Substitutions must be received no later than 10 days before the event, or by October 25, 2026.

Travel Restrictions

If travel restrictions are imposed in the country from which a registrant is traveling, and those restrictions prevent attendance at the event, the registrant may choose one of the following:

  • A full refund, or
  • A credit of the registration value toward a future i-SIGMA event, at i-SIGMA’s discretion

Visa Denial

If you are denied a visa to travel to the International Summit, i-SIGMA will provide a full refund upon receipt of the official letter of denial.

Medical Emergency

If you must cancel due to a medical emergency, your request may be considered after the event at i-SIGMA’s discretion. Supporting documentation will be required with the cancellation request.

i-SIGMA is not responsible for any outside fees associated with substitutions or cancellations.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. i-SIGMA strongly recommends that attendees purchase personal travel and medical insurance before traveling to the event. Coverage should include:

  • Loss of registration fees due to cancellation of participation or the event
  • Loss of airfare or other travel costs
  • Medical expenses
  • Loss of or damage to personal property
  • Additional expenses caused by travel disruption
  • Repatriation if travel plans must be changed

i-SIGMA accepts no responsibility for attendees who do not obtain insurance coverage.

Information

The information used for this event will be drawn from the attendee’s individual profile in i-SIGMA’s database. Attendees may access this profile to update or delete their information.

This information may be used for:

  • Event identification, including name and company name
  • Verifying company affiliation and applicable membership pricing
  • Sending registration confirmations and event communications
  • Promoting this and future i-SIGMA events, subject to attendee communication preferences

Attendee information, including name, company, mailing address, email address, role, and title, may also be shared with event sponsors and exhibitors for pre-event promotion and follow-up regarding products and services. Sponsors and exhibitors are required to provide an opt-out option for future communications. Residents of Europe must opt in to such list distribution and will not be included automatically.

Disclaimer and Waiver

As a condition of participation in this event, the attendee waives any claim against the International Secure Information Governance & Management Association (i-SIGMA), its officers, directors, employees, agents, presenters, and speakers for reliance on information presented during the event. The attendee also releases i-SIGMA from any and all liability for damage or injury that may arise from participation in or attendance at the program.

The attendee further understands and agrees that all property rights in materials presented, including common law copyright, are expressly reserved to the presenter, speaker, or i-SIGMA.

The attendee acknowledges that participation in i-SIGMA events and activities may involve risk and accepts responsibility for their own well-being.

If another individual participates in the attendee’s place under i-SIGMA’s transfer or substitution policy, the new registrant agrees to this disclaimer, waiver, and all event conditions by default of the transfer. If another individual registers an attendee for this event, that person agrees to these conditions on the attendee’s behalf as the attendee’s proxy.

i-SIGMA, exhibitors, and sponsors may photograph or record this event for use in print, digital, and other promotional materials, including websites and social media. By participating, the attendee grants i-SIGMA, exhibitors, and sponsors the right to use any image, photograph, recording, voice, or likeness without compensation. Any such media captured by i-SIGMA becomes the property of i-SIGMA and may be displayed, distributed, or used for any purpose.

i-SIGMA reserves the right to refuse or cancel any ineligible registration at any time and is not responsible for any outside fees associated with that cancellation.
