Bob Johnson is CEO and founder of NAID, the non-profit, industry watchdog for the secure information destruction industry, which he started in 1994 after more than a decade in the industry as a service provider.
As a pioneer creating tangible means for the industry to be more regulated and thus successful, Mr. Johnson has testified before the United States Senate and the Canadian House of Commons on the importance of secure information disposal and provided input on data protection regulations around the world.
He is a prolific writer and speaker on the topic of secure disposal, data protection regulations, policy development, and employee compliance, and occasionally serves as an expert witness in legal disputes related to secure information disposition. He recently authored the only textbook Information Disposition: A Practical Guide to the Secure and Compliant Disposal of Records, Media and IT Assets, which is the only book dedicated to the subject secure data destruction.

Angie Singer Keating is the chief executive officer at Reclamere, Inc. One of the co-founders of Reclamere, Ms. Keating is the chief architect of the proprietary data destruction system used by the company, which includes forensically-sound, bit-by-bit, and quality control on 100% of all hard drives processed. She is certified as a: CISA Information Systems Auditor, CIPP Information Privacy Professional, and CISM Information Security Manager. Ms. Keating is actively involved with the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID), serving on the national Board of Directors, as the Certification Rules Committee Chairperson, and Co-chairperson of the Solid State Destruction Subcommittee. Ms. Keating serves on the Board of Directors of the Ben Franklin Technology Partnership, and proudly serves as adjunct faculty for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. She earned a degree in electrical engineering technology from the Pennsylvania State University.
John Nealon, Managing Director of M1 Document Solutions, has been in the Secure Data Destruction Industry form 10 years, is a Certified Data Protection Officer, and holds a Professional Certificate in Data Protection, Level 9 on NQF, University College Dublin. He is also a Member of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland and eligible to serve as the Designated Data Protection Officer to companies with an annual total turnover in excess of €350 million. Mr. Nealon also currently serves as the Divisional Chairman of Irish Security Industry Association.
Wanne Pemmelaar specialises in IT and advises clients, including leading ICT suppliers, on data protection law, data security breaches, IT and outsourcing contracts, e-commerce law and intellectual property law. His passion is to assist clients in navigating the legal landscape against the backdrop of exponential data and tech developments. He believes that data are a valuable strategic asset and a driver of new business models and processes.
Mr. Pemmelaar advised a large number of multinationals with their shift to the cloud and has helped clients set up global data compliance and data security breach programs. He has in-depth knowledge of the privacy and licence aspects of apps marketing, innovative data use (such as profiling) and complex data sharing systems involving numerous parties. In addition, he has assisted clients during various data protection and telecoms investigations and litigation, including providing practical and strategic advice on mitigating measures and dealings with press and other stakeholders.
